1955-1963 Chevrolet 3-speed: Choose from either of two high performance ratio gear sets for 1955-1963 Chevy 3-speed trannys. Gives your car smoother and longer acceleration through the gears and takes advantage of any speed equipment on your engine. Either set will give much better acceleration than the stock gears.

We suggest "Medium Ratio" for stock and mildly hopped-up engines; and "Close Ratio" for hopped up engines where you want a second gear that is super flexible and can be used as a passing gear.

Set includes cluster, main drive, and second gear. Use the rest of your other gears.

Medium Ratio set: 2.47:1 first; 1.53:1 second.

Close Ratio set: 2.21:1 first; 1.32:1 second.
