Rod Dippers
On early Chevrolet Engines it is very important that the pan squirters be on target and the dippers are good. Install new dippers and be sure.

Oil Pan Drain Plug
Drip, drip, drip on the garage floor. A very common problem is a leaky drain plug where the threads in the pan are worn out. This is easily fixed by installing a new drain plug with oversize threads. Specify year. A new gasket is included.

Oil Pan “Target” Service
On all 1937-53 engines using babbitt rods, the squirt nozzles in the oil pan are aimed precisely at the center of the rod dippers so that the rods will be fed oil every revolution of the engine. With special tools we can “target” your pan, as well as set the proper height of the nozzles. This is a “must” to have done any time your engine is rebuilt, or any time the pan has been cleaned, or if the oil tubes have been disturbed. After your oil pan has been cleaned, send it to us and we will align and set the height of the nozzles and return it by UPS.
