Special Stellite Exhaust Valves
These special Stellite exhaust valves were originally made for heavy duty use and to withstand super-high temperatures. They resist burning - a real advantage with today’s higher temperature fuels.

Oil Regulator / Valve Silencers / "Rain Hats"
For 1935-47 Chevrolet, these caps fit above the valve spring and on the end of the valve stem. They channel oil away from worn valve guides to prevent oil burning as well as provide a clean new surface for the rocker arm to ride. Here is an old stock fix-it item that really works!

High Performance Valve Lifters
1955-57 Chevrolet “265” cubic inch V-8 motors came with a performance option of a four barrel carburetor, high lift camshaft, and “solid” (mechanical) lifters. Here are those original, special lifters that are so crucial if you are rebuilding a “265”.

Pushrods
Here’s another secret to a smooth running engine: check your pushrods carefully, most Chev 6’s have very long ones that are easily bent which will cause a rough uneven idle.
