1936 REAR RADIUS RODS

Used by hot rodders since the early days when it was popular to put an Oldsmobile or Pontiac rear end assembly under any 1935-1948 Ford. Weld tab brackets on to the open drive rear end housing, bolt these on and mount the forward end on to the frame. This way you can have an open drive rear end and use the original stock rear spring.

This is still a neat way to go, but now we'd recommend a Ford 9" rear end instead of and Olds or Pontiac.

Used radius rods.

BALL BEARING WATER PUMPS, 1937-1948

Originally used on heavy-duty trucks, but the real answer for any hopped up V-8! Has a heavy-duty ball bearing on a heavy-duty shaft, instead of thin bushings on small shafts. Some rodders machine off the outside belt groove; some don't, and pretend they are going to install a supercharger.
