Headlamp Lenses

Vintage has the most complete stock of headlamp lenses in the entire country - NOS, genuine, replacement, accessory, one-of-a-kind, special, colored, and even good used!

We have divided these into three distinct groupings so that you can find what you need easily:

  • Specialty lenses: these can be either flat or concave (curved)
  • Flat lenses: most vehicles 1915-1931
  • Convex (curved) lenses: most vehicles 1932-1939
CAUTION: Many of these lenses are in very short supply or even one-of-a-kind. These are not "reproduction" parts, and there is no source for us to replace our stock. Therefore, if you need lenses for your restoration, or would like to have a spare, we suggest that you order now.
 
 
SPECIALTY LENSES

Here's a crowd stopper and an instant conversation maker. Dufek Lens Co of Seattle invented, patented, and produced this specialty lens which has "shades" that protrude out in front and are colored green. The idea was that you could use your high beams and not glare on-coming traffic.

Designed for all cars with flat lenses, 1915-1931 and older.

Available with outside diameters of 7 ¾", 8", 8 ½", 8 ¾", 9", 9 ¼", and one size specifically for 1928-1931 Model "A  SOLD OUT

Guide Driving Lamp, 7 7/8" diameter, convex.

Convex lens, for genuine GM accessory driving lamps, fitted to many cars 1932 through the mid-forties. There are two versions, both perfectly interchangeable: No. 924384 has embossed lettering "B-L-C Driving Lamp"; No. 923958 has embossed lettering "GUIDE 7 7/8 Driving Lamp". $74.50 each

 

Guide Fog Lamp, Passing Lamp

For genuine GM accessory lamps, various diameters and prism designs. Lens pictured on left is for fog, and is amber top and bottom, clear in the middle. Lens pictured on right is all clear. Other versions are V-shaped, red, blue amber, clear. Specify O.D. and whatever is written on the lens. $25.00 to $95.00 each

FLAT LENSES

Most vehicles 1915-1931:

Round, odd-shape, special, every size from 6 ½" through 12 ½", small cars through classics. Every make such as Bosch & Lomb, Spreadlite, Monogram, Liberty, Ford, Tiltray, Flexbeam and all others. Need exact application and what is written on the lens. On flat lenses, note that there are two diameters: an "inside" diameter (for the rim opening) and an "outside" diameter.
